Who we are
Batal Stories is an Egyptian brand that designs and prints personalised children's books and sells them online at batalstories.com. These terms govern your order.
What we sell
Personalised printed children's books. Every book is made after the order, for the specific child named in it, with their name and photo. It is not an off-the-shelf product.
Price
The price on screen is the final price for the books. Shipping is calculated by governorate and shown on its own line before payment. Nothing is added after that.
Payment
Payment is by transfer: InstaPay or an e-wallet. You may pay in full upfront, or pay a 50% deposit with the rest in cash on delivery. The order enters production once we have checked the transfer screenshot.
Delivery
Delivery is within 2 days in Cairo and 3 to 5 days for every other governorate in Egypt, counted from payment confirmation. These are estimates and can be affected by the courier.
The photos you send
By sending your child's photo you confirm that you are their guardian or are otherwise permitted to use that photo. We use it only to print their book, as set out in the Privacy Policy.
What we will not print
We do not print offensive content, or photos containing anyone other than the child without their permission. If an order contains anything like this we cancel it and refund you in full.
Photo quality
We review every photo before we start. If a photo is not clear enough to print, we contact you and ask for another one before printing begins.
Changing an order
You can change anything in your order free of charge within 24 hours of payment. The details are on the Refund Policy page.
Ownership
The story artwork, the text and the book design belong to Batal Stories. The book you buy is for your personal use, not for reprinting or resale.
Changes to these terms
We may update this page. The date above shows the last update, and the terms that apply to your order are the ones published on the day you ordered.
