At Batal Stories we take your child's data seriously. This page says exactly what we collect, why, and what we do with it.
What we collect
To print the book we ask for the child's name, age and gender, their photo, the book language, the recipient's name, the mobile number, the governorate, and the full address. When you pay, we ask for a screenshot of the transfer.
Why we collect it
The child's name, photo and age go inside the story itself — that is what makes the book theirs. The delivery details go to the courier so the book reaches you. The transfer screenshot is what we check before we confirm payment and start printing.
Who sees it
The Batal Stories team, and the courier who delivers the order — the courier receives the delivery details only, never the child's photo. We do not sell or rent any data to anyone.
Photos
The child's photo is used for illustration and printing only. We do not publish it in our ads or on our pages without your written permission. If you would like us to delete your child's photo after the book arrives, write to khaled@batalstories.com and we will delete it.
How long we keep things
Order data stays with us as the record of the transaction. The child's photo is kept for 90 days from the order date and is then deleted, including photos belonging to carts that were never completed.
Your rights
At any time you can ask for a copy of your data, a correction, or its deletion. Write to khaled@batalstories.com and we will reply within 24 hours.
Children
This site is for adults ordering for their children. We do not collect data from children directly and we do not contact them.
Cookies and measurement
We use measurement tools to understand where our visitors come from. These tools see pages opened and buttons pressed; they do not see your child's name, their photo, or your address.
